Representatives of Cadena Real and Grupo Riquelme participated in the First Regional Congress on Corporate Sustainability of the United Nations Global Compact, held in Asunción, where they discussed sustainability, economy, human rights and corporate social responsibility.

This great meeting brought together leaders from the private sector and sustainability experts to raise business commitment to accelerate sustainable development. We analyzed the progress made, identified the main gaps and presented scalable solutions adapted to our region.

"In Latin America and the Caribbean there are 4,300 companies committed to sustainable business practices, with important initiatives to create employment with innovation," said Sanda Ojiambo, Deputy Secretary General and CEO of the United Nations Global Compact, who came to our country to participate in the international meeting.

It should be noted that Grupo Riquelme has been a member of the Global Compact Network since 2017, supporting and increasing its knowledge of good practices that allow Cadena Real and other companies to move towards a more sustainable vision in the business field.
