2023 has been a year of significant challenges and achievements for our Beverage Unit at EMCESA. Over the past twelve months, we have consolidated our commitment to excellence and innovation in every bottle that reaches your hands.

Our focus on quality, variety and customer satisfaction has been the driving force behind our growth. From refreshing soft drinks and mineral waters to juices and exquisite beer, each product has been carefully crafted to satisfy the most demanding tastes.

This year, we have strengthened our presence in the market, reaching new sales goals and expanding our product range. Behind every success, there is the effort of a committed team that works tirelessly to offer the best to our consumers.

We thank our customers for their trust and our consumers for their preference, as well as our talented team for their dedication and passion. This summary is just a glimpse of our progress and we are eager to continue innovating and growing together in 2024.

At Cereales S.A. we are very happy and grateful for the year 2023, where despite having a very difficult market context, we will have growth compared to 2022. This result leaves us very well positioned for 2024 where we will seek to grow on a solid foundation and thus be able to continue gaining market share.

We would like to first thank our collaborators who, with a lot of passion, determination and mysticism, make our brands continue to grow, our Distributors & Business Partners who accompany us in the development of our brands, as well as our Clients & Consumers who trust us and choose us to be present at their families' tables.

The year 2023 has been an extremely challenging year for our industry, the pressure from new competitors and smuggling was very high, but despite this we ended the year gaining market share, and the most important thing is that we managed to open our ninth store in the established time, and with the resources generated from the operation, with which we see the situation for the following months, in a very auspicious way, with a lot of optimism and oriented to continue growing in sales and market share.

In 2024, the changes in the region, plus the consolidation of our new location, Real Félix Bogado, and the execution of all the plans we have in place, make us predict double-digit growth for the chain, which would make it the fastest-growing chain in the country in 2024.

This year 2023 that is ending was a very difficult year for the entire agricultural sector, hit for the third consecutive year by a very hard drought that affected all aspects of production. As a consequence of these vicissitudes we were forced to redouble our efforts and exploit the resources we had available in an intelligent and creative way to be able to endure and overcome the bad times that arose.

With all the measures that were taken we were able to weather the situation and we reached the end of the year achieving most of the objectives proposed for this 2023. And with the end of the three consecutive years of “La Niña” and the consolidation of “El Niño” we believe that this 2024 that is coming will bring a lot of good news for everyone in Campos Morombi.

In this sense, despite the difficulties, it is worth highlighting that this year was a historic year for the company, since for the first time in the more than 50 years of the company's existence we managed to surpass a mark that represents a historic milestone for us and that will remain forever in the memory of all the company's collaborators and directors. What was remarkable was that we managed to produce and brand more than 10,000 calves in a single year, an amount that represents a record at the company level and places Campos Morombi among the most productive at the national level.

Another important achievement was the incorporation of more than 2,000 hectares of new pastures that will form part of the productive scheme from this year onwards, and with the approval at the board level to continue with sustained growth in the following year.

With the arrival of a new year, we are faced with new challenges, which we want to transform into new opportunities, to continue with the development of both the company and all of us who are part of this select group of collaborators and friends that is Campos Morombi.

All the difficulties overcome and all the achievements obtained would never have been possible without the honest, selfless, loyal and efficient collaboration of all our collaborators, so to each and every one of them, from the directors to the last ranch hand, my most sincere gratitude and desire to continue working together so that in 2024 we see the fruit of so much sacrifice that we left behind.
